I want to share my deepest sympathies do you and your family I attended Hillsboro high school class of 62 my strongest memory of Jerry was the night we played basketball Hillsboro versus Crystal city Missouri. Their big man was Bill Bradley and our big man was Bob Smith and his brother Eddie. Coach assigned Jerry to guard Bradley, And boy did Jerry Do his job. Bradley was very limited to his scoring due to Jerrys excellent coverage of Bradley. Bradley was very limited in scoring. Hillsboro won!!! It was covered state wide by print & radio. Schools canceled games to attend or listen on radio. Jerry was the reason we won. Smith bros did most of the scoring but Jerry efforts won the game. Im sorry I didnt meet Jerry as adults, I to retired from SBC, Lake Ozark, Jeff City area. May God Bless you & family. Jerry was a great individual, what a tragic loss.
