Jared was born on March 25, 1988, to Bruce and Leslie Blacksher. He left this world on October 30, 2026, leaving a lifetime of love, laughter, and memories that will forever be cherished.
Jared’s love lives on through his wife, Jessica Muilenburg, and his stepson, Eli; his father, Bruce Blacksher, and Liza Quamme of Warsaw, Missouri; his brothers, Justin and his wife, Breanna, of Walnut Grove, Missouri; Jason and his wife, Allyson, of Chickasha, Oklahoma; and Joey and his wife, Kendle, of Dahlonega, Georgia; and his special friends, Michelle and Boyce Smallwood of Columbia, Missouri. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Jared was truly one of a kind. His personality was impossible to forget, and his sense of humor could make you laugh even on the worst of days. He loved and lived life in his own beautiful, crazy way.
More than anything, Jared loved taking care of the people he loved. He showed it in the little things, like laying out his wife's work clothes before he went to work to make her day easier or getting up at 3 a.m. to make a grilled cheese. And he made the BEST grilled cheese! He was an amazing cook who always changed the recipe and made it his own. Somehow, it was always amazing. He didn’t just say he loved people. He showed them.
Jared also loved his dogs. He seemed to know exactly what every bark meant and always made time to show each one love, no matter what else was going on in life. He shared a special bond with each of them and found so much joy in playing with them and spending time with them. They love him dearly, and they will miss him just as much.
Losing Jared leaves a hole in our family that no one else could ever fill. We will miss his jokes, his laughter, his smile, his sarcasm, and a million other things that made Jared who he was. While Jared’s time on Earth was far too short, we are so thankful to have shared that time with him. So thankful to have known him and loved him.
Jared will continue to live on through the jokes, the memories, the stories, and the love that we will carry with us always.
Until we meet again.
