Delbert Lee Marshall, 91, passed away on November 1, 2026. He was born on November 26, 1934, to Granvil and Velma Marshall.
Delbert was raised in Southern California and graduated from high school in Chino, California. He met Ruth, and the two were married before he joined the United States Army. He proudly served for two years during the Korean War. Together, Delbert and Ruth welcomed two sons.
Later in life, Delbert married Patricia, who became the love of his life. They moved to Las Vegas, where they welcomed two more sons and built a life together. Delbert spent his entire working life in construction as a carpenter. He was a gifted craftsman who could build or fix just about anything. There wasn't much he couldn't do with his hands, and he took pride in the things he created. More importantly, he passed his knowledge and strong work ethic on to his boys, teaching them the value of hard work and the satisfaction of doing a job right.
Delbert found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. He loved racing dirt bikes through the desert, camping, deer hunting, boating, and spending time searching for treasures at garage sales. He also had a big heart for animals and enjoyed a home filled with them. Over the years, he raised chickens, goats, miniature donkeys, miniature horses, cats, and even a parrot. He also raised registered Australian Shepherds and Chihuahuas. His love for animals was just another reflection of the caring heart behind his hardworking nature.
Delbert is survived by his four sons, Brett Marshall, Brian Marshall, Randy (Kathy) Marshall, and Zane (Karolyn) Marshall; six grandchildren, Erica, Serenity, Holly, Jodi, Jack, and Evan; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Patricia Marshall.
Delbert lived a life filled with hard work, adventure, and the people and things he loved most. He leaves behind the memories of a man who could make just about anything with his hands, who taught his boys by example, and who found joy in life's everyday moments. His love, wisdom, and the lessons he passed down will live on through the family he cherished. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, and cremation rites are accorded by Adams Crematory.
