George and I met in the early sixties. We were neighbors and became friends right away, even though George was two years younger than I. It was after his accident that we became closer than ever. As younger men we worked together on the road for quite some time. It was during this time that I discovered what a mind for memory George had. For example, he could quote the entire Budweiser beer label on demand! No easy task for anyone. Over the years we saw each other as often as was possible. George was a devoted friend who I could always count on. I know I will see him again someday. He told me he knew that Jesus Christ died for him. Until then,,,,he will be missed.
