William "Bill" Franklin Helt

William “Bill” Franklin Helt, 57, of Clever passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at his home.

Bill was born on February 9, 1965 in Harrisonville, MO; the son of J.C. (Vern) and Carolyn Helt.

On July 17, 1982, Bill was united in marriage to Teresa Thomas. Bill was a brick mason by trade; a job he enjoyed for his entire life. He also loved farming, horses, and riding motorcycles in his younger years. More than anything else though, Bill loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, J.C.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa; two sons, Franklin Helt and wife, Shannon of Clever, and Kevin Helt and wife, Erin of Clever; six grandchildren, Luke, Phillip, Allison, Britney, Kaitlyn, and Madison Helt; his siblings, Jim Helt and Barbara Stogner; his mother, Carolyn; his life-long friend, Kerry Stennett; and many others.

A Funeral will be held for Bill at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home in Nixa. Friends & relatives are invited to a Visitation with the family the evening prior, Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Clever, MO.
