William "Bill" Heim

William Ray Heim, age 67 of Springfield, passed away May 11, 2021. He was born June 22, 1953 in Lamar, Missouri, the son of Randall and Georgia (Pruente) Heim. Survivors include: his first wife, Julie Heim of Springfield; second wife, Bonnie Howard Heim of Springfield; stepdaughters, Jandy Bingham and husband Brent of Springfield; and step grandchild Brent; and Andrea Walton and husband Ryan of Charlotte, North Carolina, and step grandchildren, Brody and Levi; five brothers and sisters, Kathy Pace and husband Joe of Lamar, Tom Heim and wife Liska of Mississippi, George Heim and wife Debbie of Lamar, Helen Mallory and husband Michael of California, and Grace Heim of Denmark; nieces and nephews; aunts; and many cousins. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. Bill worked as a general contractor and enjoyed remodeling and building. He was an avid caver most of his adult life. He loved camping, floating, hiking, feeding the birds and traveling to see new places. Bill was quiet but very funny. He really looked forward to spending time with his step grandchildren Brody and Levi. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, with Reverend Thomas E. Reidy officiating. Cremation is under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
