William "Bill" Charles Glaubitz, 79, of Sparta, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026.

Bill was born on July 28, 1946, in Nebraska City, Nebraska, to Raymond and Gladys Glaubitz. He later moved to Springfield, Missouri, where he graduated from high school before proudly serving his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years.

After completing his military service, Bill met the love of his life, Patricia. They married and built a life together, raising their family with dedication and quiet strength.

Bill was known as a hardworking and dependable man. He worked as a cabinet maker at Zenith before continuing his career as a maintenance engineer at Plaza Towers, where he remained until his retirement. He took great pride in every job he did and was respected for his strong work ethic.

In his free time, Bill enjoyed tending to his flower and vegetable gardens, woodworking, collecting firearms, and watching classic Western movies. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. A true "strong, silent type," Bill was always willing to lend a hand to neighbors and friends whenever they needed help. His quiet kindness, generosity, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Bill will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his love of family, his willingness to help others without expecting anything in return, and the quiet strength that defined his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Amy Glaubitz-Iiams and her husband, Matt; his sons, Ryan Glaubitz and Chris Cody; and his cherished grandchildren, Jensen Iiams, Avery Iiams, Chase Glaubitz, Daityn Iiams, and Teagan Iiams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Gladys Glaubitz; his daughter, Tracy Glaubitz; and his brother, Raymond Glaubitz Jr.

A private family ceremony will take place at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rights are accorded by Adams Crematory.
