Wilbur "Bill" Anthony Youngberg

Wilbur “Bill” Youngberg, age 102, passed away June 13, 2026. He was born August 26, 1923 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Herman and Ada (Lenn) Youngberg.

Bill was married 71 years to Rosemary Youngberg before her death on March 8, 2019.

Bill attended seminary and became an ordained Baptist minister. He had a long career, pastoring churches in Michigan, New York, Ohio and Missouri. After his retirement, he worked as a security guard until he was 92. Bill remained active - even taking little walks around his patio until a couple of weeks before his passing.

Bill was a member of Calvary Bible Church in Nixa.

Survivors include: two daughters Melodie Bennett of Nixa and Noelle Segrest of Nixa; grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Bennett and wife Cindy, Ian Thomas Bennett, and Jeffery Shaun Pratt; great grandchildren, Brynlee Rose Bennett, Porter Thomas Bennett and Phoebe Kathryn Bennett; and nieces and a nephew, David Youngberg, Susan Youngberg, Karen Grant, Candy Callery, Barb Ferrell and Becky Bishop.

In addition to his wife Rosemary, Bill was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Celeste Pratt; three brothers, Glenn, Eugene and David; and a niece, Ruth Woodruff.

A funeral service for Wilbur "Bill" Youngberg will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Larry Pauley officiating.

Private family burial will follow at McConnell Cemetery, Nixa.

Visitation will be from noon until 1:00 p.m. immediately before the funeral in the funeral home Friday, June 19, 2026.
