Thomas Cecil LeJeune

Thomas Cecil LeJeune, age 82 of Nixa, passed away February 29, 2024.  He was born June 9, 1941 in Ankeny, Iowa, the son of Clarence Cecil and Ruth (Bullard) LeJeune.

On May 24, 1975, Thomas was united in marriage to Teresa Pfaff.

Thomas served his country in the U.S. Airforce Reserves. He worked as director of marketing in the newspaper industry for more than 30 years before retirement. Thomas was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Nixa, Missouri. 

Survivors include:  his wife, Teresa LeJeune of Nixa; his children, Tammy Sue Parrott and husband Hal of Bradenton, Florida, Eric Michael Brown of Forsyth, Missouri and Kellie Jo LeJeune of Bradenton, Florida; grandchildren, Eleanor Kathleen Pape-son Teddy and husband Lucas of Kansas City, Missouri, Kaylee Ann Brown, Cheyanne Emma Jane, Brooklyn Lynn ,  and Cooper William Brown of Waynesville, Missouri, Ashton Cruz Negrete, Bryce Tai Negrete and Madelyn Michael Hancock; and great grandchildren, Teddy Pape, Cobain Brown and Delilah Mae Cruz, and close relatives; Joseph Parrott of Wichita, Kansas-wife Danielle, daughter Addison, Christina Holloway of Fort Worth, Texas, husband Jeffery, daughter Francesca Camisano, son Hagen Holloway, son Harper Holloway, Haulsey Moser of St.. Joseph, Missouri, daughter Macie Zug, daughter Walker Mae; two nieces, Emily Rebecca Busby of Pennsylvania, Natalie Jane Pfaff of California, and one nephew, William Charles Pfaff of Michigan.  

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Wendy Lynn Negrete; and his brother, Jon LeJeune, a brother-in-law Samual Pfaff, and a sister-in-law Terrell Ann Pfaff.  

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Victory Baptist Church, with Pastor Tim Russell officiating. 

Final Resting place and military honors will be Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri at a later date, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. 

Cremation rites were accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements were under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
