Susan Sadowski Fielden

Susan Marie Fielden, age 68, of Hartville, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022.  She was born October 31, 1953, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of John Sigmund and Selma Jean (Pennebaker) Sadowski. She was a 1971 graduate of Ozark High School.  Following graduation Susan attended a Chiropractic school in Iowa, and later worked for the School for the Deaf in St. Louis.

On November 18, 1977 she and Roger Eugene Fielden were married.  In 1995 Susan and Gene moved to Hartville from Springfield.

Susan had a love for her family and a heart to care for all.  Always service oriented, Susan was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.  She loved her step-daughter and doted on all her nieces and nephews.  “Aunt Sue” had a gift to spoil all children in the family.

Survivors include:  Her husband, Roger “Gene” Fielden; her step-daughter, Teressa Duncan and husband Robert of Republic; a sister, Barbara Hover and husband Alex of Ozark; nieces and nephew and their spouses, Laura Skiles and Justin, Jennifer White and Brad, Rachel Bergin and Rob, Alex Hover III and Lindsay, Sarah Carroll and Alec, and Melissa Brewer and Greg Rankin; many great-nieces and great-nephews; a sister-in-law Sue Fielden Bulmer and husband Bruce, and their children, Debi Dabasinskas and husband Steve, and Chris Bulmer and wife Jennifer.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Carol Sadowski, and brother-in-law Robert Allen Fielden.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, August 19, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.  A graveside funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, August 20, in Weaver Cemetery, Ozark.

Guestbook

Susan was one of the prettiest girls in our Ozark school class.
I enjoyed visiting with her a few years ago at a school reunion. Lynn and I send our sympathies to the family as we are out of town and will not be able to attend services.
She will be missed. Lynn
