Stephen Gordon Grantham

Stephen Gordon Grantham, age 54, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away December 13, 2010 following a sudden illness. The son of Gordon Grantham and Joan (Zongker) Grantham was born on April 15, 1956, in Springfield, Missouri. He was raised on a farm west of Walnut Grove, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Patricia Dent Grantham on April 14, 2007. He was a member of the Oak Grove Presbyterian Church. Stephen had been a truck driver most of his life, the past seven years with Con-way Freight Company. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, gardening, and especially being with his family and grandkids. Stephen is survived by his wife Patricia; his parents, Gordon and Joan Grantham, Walnut Grove; three sons, Stephen Matthew and Shannon Grantham, Highlandville, Wayne and Melissa Marshall, and Loren and Lonna Marshall, Springfield; three sisters, Connie Kollmeyer and husband Jeff, Springfield, Christa Clawson and husband Roger, Walnut Grove, Carol Grantham and Rick Pinegar, Ozark; nine grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Julius Grantham. A funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 17, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa with visitation will be from 6:00 "� 8:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Greene Lawn Cemetery, Walnut Grove, Missouri. Memorial donations may be given to the American Heart Association.
