Stephanie Sue Stennett

Stephanie Sue Stennett, age 71 of Highlandville, passed away June 21, 2024. She was born March 6, 1953 in Freeport, Texas, the daughter of James William Morris and Barbara Sue Jimerson.         

Stephanie was a believer in Jesus Christ. She was a member of Lake Hills Church in Ozark. Stephanie enjoyed attending Christian concerts, going to the lake, fishing, and taking care of her dog and cat. 

Survivors include: her husband, Jimmy Stennett of Ozark; two daughters, Shana Sears and husband Brandon of Ozark and Crystal Sundy and husband Paul of Nixa; her father, James Morris of Nixa, a brother, Lance Morris of Nixa; three half brothers, Clay Morris of Nixa, Chris Morris of New York, and Kelly Jimerson of Springfield, and four grandchildren, Presley Sundy, Kinley Sundy, Hadley Sears and Henry Sears, and lifelong friend Debbie Hinds. 

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Jimerson ; her stepfather, Glen Jimerson , her grandmother, Ebbie Eaton; her grandfather, Wid Eaton, brother Steve Jimerson, and half brother Bryan Morris. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 24, 2024 at Jones Chastain Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Jimmy Smothers officiating.

There will also be a short commital service for Stephanie’s mother, Barbara Jimerson and burial of cremains following Barbara’s service.
