Stanley Roger Fry, of Ozark, was born June 24, 1942 in Springfield, Missouri and went home to be with his Lord on April 20, 2024. He grew up the youngest of five children; enjoyed playing tennis, loved singing and continued dancing until shortly before his passing. He is a graduate of Hillcrest High School and attended Iola Junior College in Iola, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Carol; parents, Ike and Marie Fry; sisters, Doris Cox and Joyce Scroggs; and stepson Norman Burch. He is survived by: his children, Doug Fry, Marianne Fry, and Paul Fry; stepchildren, Jerilynn Poulin, Dana Lantgen, and Greg Burch; grandchildren, Micah Fry, Daniel Fry, Joel Fry, Nathan Fry, and Jacob Fry; step-grandchildren, Nicolette Poulin, Courtney Poulin, Jenna Hicks, Samantha Burch, David Burch and Kevin Burch; great-grandson, BenjaminFry; step-great-grandchildren Emmett Hicks and Connor Hicks; brother, Ancel Fry; sister, Evelyn Gustafson; and a host of relatives and friends.
Stanley was a active member of Cassidy United Methodist Church in Nixa, Missouri.
The family will welcome friends and family to Cassidy Church on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM for visitation; a Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Salvation Army or Cassidy United Methodist Church, Nixa.
