Sherman Leaford Garrison
Sherman “Spike” Leaford Garrison, age 66, of Ozark, MO, died August 29, 2021. He was born September 20, 1954, the son of Sherman and Mildred Garrison. Sherman was raised in Jasper, Missouri and attended Pittsburg State University in Kansas. On November 8, 1980 he was wed to Laura Garrison and later widowed. Sherman was again united in marriage to Pat Garrison on March 20, 2011. Sherman worked as an industrial maintenance and electronics technician throughout most of his life. He previously worked as an electrician, owned and operated a TV repair business, worked as a PLC and robotics technician and enjoyed woodworking as a hobby. Sherman is survived by: His beloved wife, Pat; his son Nicholas and spouse Taylre, his son Matthew and spouse Amanda; and his grandchildren, Scott and Maxwell Garrison. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Julie Wade and spouse David Wade and step grandchildren, Collin, Hunter and spouse Maggie, Chandler, and Fisher; stepson Jason Powell, and step grandchildren Tanner and Emily. A memorial service will be 11:30 AM Saturday, September 18 at Hopedale Baptist Church, Ozark, with Pastor Mark Arnold and Chaplain Bill Niekuhr (from Seasons Hospice) officiating. Very sad to hear of shermy passing on. I worked with him at GE for several years and always enjoyed working with him. he was always a lot of fun. Rest in pease my friend, greg phillips.........
