Shawn Curtis Lutton

Shawn Lutton, age 54 of Ozark, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021. He was born December 11, 1966 in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Robert and Anna (Johnson) Lutton. The family moved to Missouri, where Shawn graduated from East Carter High School, Ellsinore, Missouri. Shawn graduated from Southeast Missouri State University where he met his wife, Cathy. On July 15, 1989, Shawn was united in marriage to Cathy (Vance.) Together they had three children who became the focus and pride of his life. He worked in management for Walgreens for 29 years. Shawn was a family man who loved his children, grandchildren, and wife dearly. Shawn was known as a kind man and loved by those that knew him. Survivors include: his wife, Cathy Lutton of Ozark; daughters, Josie Matlock and husband Caleb of Ozark; Mandy Lutton of O'Fallon, and Emily Bruckerhoff and husband Zach of Cottleville, Missouri; grandchildren, Hallie and Elliott Matlock of Ozark; siblings, David Lutton of Ellsinore, Missouri, Wesley Lutton and wife Suzette of Ellsinore, Missouri, Michael Lutton and wife Judie of Ellisnore, Missouri, Susan Lutton of Columbia and Jennifer Luster and husband Terry of Lake St. Louis. Shawn was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Sandra Lutton. A visitation will be held from 5-7 P.M. Monday, March 29, 2021 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark. Cremation will follow visitation.
