Scott Howard Jones

Scott Howard Jones, age 45 of  Covington, Tennessee, died November 20, 2025. He was born July 7, 1980 in Springfield, the son of Ronald Howard and Jean Scott Jones. Scott was baptized and confirmed at Schweitzer Church. He had lived in Tennessee throughout his career as an IT specialist. 

Survivors include: his parents; his sister, Jennifer Clark and husband Robert of Nixa; his nephew, Samuel Clark of Nixa; his grandmother, Ruth Jones of Mustang, Oklahoma; aunts, uncles and cousins.Scott was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard H. Jones; his maternal grandparents, Kay and Jim Scott; and his beloved Boxer, Lili.Scott had a wonderful sense of humor and wit. He was a deep thinker and a tech guru, enjoying every new gadget that came along. Scott loved his family. He enjoyed many spirited conversations and debates with his sister Jennifer. Most of all, he loved his nephew Samuel.Scott was a barbeque connoisseur. He made his own barbeque sauces, smoked bacon and smoked turkey.A private graveside service was held at McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery, Nixa, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.A memorial service for friends and family will be held and will be announced soon.
