Sandra Lea Wilkinson

Sandy Lea Wilkinson, 63, of Highlandville, Missouri, passed away on July 30, 2026. She was born on November 19, 1962, to Skeet and Nadine Jones.

Sandy graduated from Spokane High School in 1981. She married Duane Wilkinson on March 5, 1994, at First Baptist Church in Highlandville, Missouri.

Sandy was a devoted Christian who attended One Accord Freewill Baptist Church and House of Prayer in Branson West. Her faith and her family were the center of her life.

Sandy had a strong work ethic and enjoyed serving others. She worked as the Food Service Director for Spokane Schools while also owning Bobby Jack's Restaurant and the family catering business with her husband, Duane. Whether at work or at home, she loved cooking and bringing people together through food.

Nothing meant more to Sandy than her family. She cherished her daughters and grandchildren and loved hosting holidays and family gatherings, especially the annual Fourth of July celebration. She had a special gift for keeping her family close.

Sandy was energetic, outgoing, and never met a stranger. She was a natural leader with a wonderful sense of humor and was often the life of the party. Her laughter and ability to make others smile will be remembered by everyone who knew her.

She loved traveling to the beach, especially her trips to Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In her younger years, she enjoyed making pottery and worked as a potter at Silver Dollar City.

Sandy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, her generous heart, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her memory will live on in the traditions she created the meals she shared, and the many lives she touched.

Sandy is survived by her husband, Duane Wilkinson; daughters, Torri Wilkinson (fiancé Michael Rogowski) and Jessi (Lee) McCarty; brother, Gary (Judy) Jones; sisters, Marlene (Tony) Pruitt and Julie (Paul) Weber; granddaughters, Maesyn, Hannah, Millie, and Sophia; best friend, Teresa Wilson; and surrogate daughter and family friend, Amanda Gilbert. She was preceded in death by her parents, Skeet and Nadine Jones.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
