Sandra Pace, 82, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away in her home with her husband by her side on May 18, 2026. Sandra was born to Alvin and Alyce Fiskvik on November 16, 1943. She married Larry Pace on September 10, 1976, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Sandra cherished being a stay-at-home mother and supporter of her husband and church. She attended and served at Faith Assembly in Joplin, Missouri, for 27 years and recently attended Life 360 in Springfield, Missouri, for the last 14 years. Sandra was a great listener with eager openness and compassion, accepting you just as you were, reflecting Christ’s example and love. She welcomed competition, whether bowling, playing card games, or even challenging herself by putting a puzzle together. She could often be found cozied up with her coffee, getting lost in a great book. Sandra spent many years periodically enjoying the RV dream in her favorite place, “Treasure Lake” in Branson. There, she enjoyed the laughter and fellowship of her close friends and family, and especially the company of her Honey, taking walks, playing shuffleboard or putt-putt, and having a little treat after a camp cookout.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Pace; her children, Greg Pace (Michele), Sarah Culver (Kelly), Scott Pace (Amy), and Matt Pace (Kimberley). They blessed her with seven grandchildren: Heather, Taylor, Evan, Dani, Chloe, Noah, and Ava; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her four sisters, Shirley, Betty, Arlene, and Bonnie. She is joining her sister, Karen, who preceded her in death.
The family will be hosting a memorial service at Life 360 Church, 2220 W. Chesterfield St., Springfield, Missouri 65807, on Saturday, May 23, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Pastors Dan, Tim, and Ted will be officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
