Ruby Louise Jackson

Ruby Louise (Meadows) Jackson, age 89, of Ozark, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2011. She was born April 19, 1921 in Christian County, the daughter of John and Ida (Cook) Meadows. On September 11, 1937 she and Noel Jackson were united in marriage. Mrs. Jackson operated a day care for children for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, quilting and embroidery work. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel, in 1994, her son Leon, a grandson Jerry Wayne Jackson, eight brothers and sisters, and her parents. Survivors include: Her daughter, Doris Lucas, Clever; five grandchildren, John Lucas, Noel Lucas, Darren Jackson, Molly Dahl, and Emily Jackson; eight great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 13, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Bruce Burk officiating. Burial will follow in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Wednesday until service time.
