Roy David Beavers

Roy David Beavers, age 82, of Fate, Texas, previously of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on July 14, 2020. He was born January 12, 1938, in Caddo, OK, to Ed Roy Beavers and Ethel Mae Beavers. Roy served his country in the United States Army and as an Air Force civilian until his retirement as GS15 in 1990. He was an excellent leader working both hard and smartly at every task he took on. He was a caring husband, father, and grandfather. � Roy is survived by his son: Roy Edward Beavers; daughter: Darline Elizabeth and husband Kent; grandchildren: Charlotte Mae Stewart, and Jacob Kent Stewart; and sister: Joyce Ann Beavers. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife: Norma Darline Beavers; brother: Clyde E. Beavers; and his parents. A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday, July 20, 2020 at North Nixa Baptist Church, Nixa, Missouri, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Travis Edwards officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
