Roberto “Bob” Olivera, age 78, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on August 12, 2025. He was born October 25, 1946, in Manhattan, New York, to Angel and Ophelia Olivera.
At the age of four, Bob’s family moved to Miami, Florida, where he grew up. After graduating from high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force, where he met his future wife Alfreda Craft. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with two children.
Bob had a deep love for working with his hands—whether landscaping, woodworking, or tending to his yard and tool shed. One of his favorite traditions was making handmade sleds for the children at Christmas. He also had a passion for photography, ensuring that no moment went undocumented. Bob never missed his children’s wrestling matches, dance competitions, or school plays, and he often took pictures for other families who couldn’t be there, making sure no child went without a keepsake of their accomplishments.
Known for his generosity and selflessness, Bob often gave what he had to help others—buying cribs and diapers for young mothers in need and quietly making sure those around him were cared for, even if it meant he went without. His kindness, steady support, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew him.
Bob is survived by his children Brian Olivera (Misty) and Angie Owens, grandchildren Connor Olivera and Kameron Owens, his lifelong best friend with whom he shared many years as husband and wife Alfreda Craft Olivera, his brother Roland Olivera and nephews Mark and Michael Olivera, and special lifelong best friend Carole Martin.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home Ozark and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
