Robert Wayne Perry

Robert W. Perry, age 79 of Nixa, passed away on June 27, 2024. He was born October 7, 1944 in Taft, California to Charles and Juanita Perry. 

Robert moved to Springfield at an early age. He was a graduate of Parkview High School then went on to attend to Mohler Barber College in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a barber for several years before joining the military. 

He enlisted in the Army and later joined the Missouri National Guard. He retired from the Army National Guard in 1996, holding the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4. Beyond work he found joy in exploring the great outdoors through motorcycle and ATV adventures, and was an avid woodworker.

 On September 3,1982, Robert found his lifelong companion Jackie. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jackie and sister Laveta Houston. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him including his daughter Stacey Perry, Brother Ronald Perry, Brother in law Bob Houston, and Nephew Tim Houston and his Wife Jenny. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 3 at 10:00 AM at McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery in Nixa, Missouri. The ceremony will include full military honors as a tribute to Robert's dedicated service. The arrangements are under the compassionate direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri.
