Robert Gerald King

Robert King, age 83, passed away on July 7, 2026. Our beloved "Bob"'s wish to pass peacefully in his sleep at home was fulfilled after a brave two-year battle with cancer.

Bob lived in Nixa, Missouri, for the past 35 years with his family after moving from St. Louis. He attended Kirkwood High School and the University of Missouri (Mizzou) before joining the United States Air Force in 1962 during the Vietnam era. He served in the intelligence sector.

Bob loved spending time outdoors with family and friends. He enjoyed working on home improvement projects, playing his fiddle (violin), and golfing. He will be deeply loved, greatly missed, and forever remembered. We love you, Bob, and look forward to seeing you again one day in Heaven.

Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Teresa (Bazer) King; his daughter, Tracey; his son, Chris; his granddaughter, Stella; his sister, Carol; and several nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Margaret King.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
