Robert Earl Thomas

Robert Earl Thomas passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

He dearly loved his Lord and his family, and he thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors—working in his yard, gardening, and farming. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed playing fastpitch softball and was a private pilot. If everyone had a husband or father like ours, the world would be a much better place. He was truly special.

Bob dedicated 35 years of his life as a math teacher and shared over 64 wonderful years with his beloved wife.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Terry and Mike (Melisa); his brother, Rick; his sister, Gayla Jan; and two adopted white kitty cats.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, his brother Don, and his granddog, Sugar.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, with cremation rites also accorded by Adams Funeral Home.

No public service is planned. A graveside service for family will be held at a later date.
