Robert Eric Christoffers

Robert Eric Christoffers age 75 of Ozark passed away Saturday the 16th of May 2026 surrounded by family and loved ones after a difficult hospice journey. Bob was born on December 3, 1950 in the town of Fort Dodge, Iowa to his parents Kenneth Eric and Vivian Berniece ( Nordlund) Christoffers.

Bob was raised on a farm in Pocahontas County with his older sister Jeanie and younger brothers Dean, Richard, and Kevin. He graduated from Pocahontas high school and subsequently attended Wayne State College, graduating with a business degree in 1973.

Bob married Marjory McCartan of Pocahontas, Iowa in 1972 and they remained happily together until his passing. Bob was a dedicated business man, first owning his own print shop in St. Joseph Missouri before moving to Alaska in 1990. In Alaska he started a successful print supply business which ran for over twenty years in Anchorage, Alaska until his retirement.

Bob was a member of St Joseph the Worker Church here in Ozark, Missouri. He cherished outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, boating and snowmachining. Above all he treasured time spent with his family, his fondest memories occuring during his 30 years of living in Alaska. Bob loved the time spent at his cabin and loved being outdoors. Bob also loved sports and cheered for the Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals throughout his life.

Survivors include: his wife Marjory Christoffers of Ozark and his children, Matthew Christoffers of Vancouver, Washington and Michael Christoffers of Temple, Texas. He is also survived by his many loving grandchildren (of Matthew) Avery, Lucy and Rosemary Christoffers (of Michael and wife Megan) Erik, Alyssa, London Christoffers and Taylor Treuter.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents as well as two grandchildren of Matthew, Grant and Anthony Chrstoffers

A memorial service to honor the life of Robert Christoffers will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark, with Father Timothy Tran officiating.

Visitation will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to K-9 for Veterans or Wounded Warriors Project.

Cremation rites will be conducted by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
