Robert "Bob" Dale Smith

Robert Dale Smith, age 71, of Nixa, passed away in his home Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was born November 26, 1949 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Ora and Muriel (Beatty) Smith. He graduated from high school in Meriden, Kansas. Before retirement Bob was a long time driver for City Wide Concrete Company. He loved his family and his greatest joy was being Grandpa. He worked with leather as a hobby, and always enjoyed trout fishing. Survivors include: His wife, Joyce; five children, Jamie Smith, Shawn Smith, Brian Smith, Amanda Moyer, and Lacy Smith; 12 grandchildren, Silas, Samuel, Abbey, Brian, Marissa, Shane, Callie, Katelyn, Josiah, Stormi, Riley, and Aria; and one great-granddaughter, Hazel. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Terrie Smith. A Visitation and Viewing will be from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
