Robert Baker

On the early morning of March 7th, 2021 Robert (Bob) Wayne Baker left this world to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by family. Born on 12/28/48 in Avon, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Gale and Mary Baker. Survived by his wife of 46 years Vicki Baker, Brother Mike and wife Martha, Sister Brenda, Son Donavan and wife Jodi, Daughter Chrissy and husband Tom, Son James and wife Kristina, 4 grandchildren Kashmir, Taylor, James Tyler, and Trinity and many more family and friends. He was a devoted Catholic serving as a 3rd Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. Bob's list of accomplishments knows no bounds. He retired from Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad after 41 years leaving behind a legacy to those who knew him and for those to come. His infectious passion for work and non-work activities were an inspiration to all those who knew him. His hobbies consisted of Golf, Pool, Racket Ball, Shooting Bullseye and Skeet, Magic, Wood Turning, Scuba Diving, Hunting, Fishing, Bridge, Quilting, Sewing, Calligraphy and Photography. But out of all his hobbies his most cherished and favorite time was spent with his grandkids. His talents were nothing short of perfection. He will be dearly missed by all. A funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 12, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Ozark. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, March 11, at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
