Richard O. Jameson

Richard Oliver Jameson, age 77 of Chestnutridge, died August 19, 2021. He was born July 28, 1944 in Dorcester, Massachusetts, the son of Edward Oliver and Dorothy (Hallberg) Jameson. Richard moved to Missouri to attend Central Bible College. On November 28, 1970, he was united in marriage to Betty (Flemming). Richard served his country in the U.S. Navy, aboard the USS Triton. He loved the ocean. Later he worked as a concrete worker and also had a window cleaning business. Richard enjoyed reading, and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also participated in craft shows. Survivors include: his wife Betty Jameson of Chestnutridge; children, Belinda Westpheling (Richard Jarman) of Chestnutridge, and Denyale Holman and husband Mark of Dadeville; grandchildren, Brandy Westpheling (Andrew Dziedzic) of Chestnutridge, Katelyn Holman of Dadeville and Kayla Holman of Dadeville; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Gasper and Carson Westpheling; his brother, Edward Jameson of Dorchester, MA; and his sister, Ruth Potwin and husband Gary of Dorchester, MA. Richard was preceeded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Audrey Grace Holman. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at Rosedale Cemetery, Nixa, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
