Renee Lyn Roberts

Renee Lyn Roberts, 73, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away at her home on February 15, 2026.

She was born May 25, 1952, in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Boyd and Maxine Dent. Renee graduated from Harry S. Truman High School in 1970 and married Ted Roberts on May 29, 1970. They shared 55 years of marriage, building a life centered on family and steady devotion to one another.

Renee attended St. Luke's School of Radiologic Technology and became an X-ray technician. She worked for 30 years at the VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas, retiring in 2008. She took pride in her work and in caring for the veterans she served.

She enjoyed reading, traveling, and especially spending time with her grandson. She collected Fenton glassware and took great care in displaying her pieces. Renee loved her cats, Domino and KC, who were constant companions. She was a loyal fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas Jayhawks, rarely missing a game. She also dedicated her time as a fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 1890, supporting the young men in her community.

Renee will be remembered for her steady presence, her love of family, her quiet generosity, and the smile she always had on her face.

Renee is survived by her loving husband Ted, daughter Stephanie Roberts, grandson Gavin Roberts, sisters Rochelle Allwood and Ronda (Dave) Blackburn, nieces Patty Allwood, Michele Allwood, and Kimber Zubeck, and nephews Richie Allwood and Shawn Whitt.

Renee is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Nikki Christine Roberts, brother-in-law Larry Allwood, and nephew Terry Whitt.

A visitation will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 PM.
