Regina "Gina" Fielden

Regina (Gina) Lynn Fielden of Mexico, Missouri, departed this life on Sunday, September 2, 2019, at her home at the age of 53. Gina was born April 27, 1966 in Springfield, Missouri. Regina is survived by her mother and stepfather, Donna and Alan Combs of Spokane, Missouri; one sister, Teresa Gail Fielden of Springfield, Missouri; one son, Cody Marshall of Springfield, Missouri; four daughters, Ashley Reynolds of Clever, Missouri, Brandi Bennett of Taneyville, Missouri, Amy Combs of St.Louis, Missouri, Crista Valence of Clever, Missouri, six grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Gina was proceded in death by her father, Robert Allen Fielden; a grandson, Dallas Valence; and her loving grandparents, Efton and Gertie Pritchard, along with Joe and Bessie Fielden. Regina was a Spokane High graduate and enlisted in the US Navy in 1985 beginning her basic training at the Orlando Naval Training Center in Orlando, Florida, in January 1986. She then transferred to the Naval Station in Great Lakes, Illinois, as a hospital Corpsman E-3. Regina was discharged in November 1988. Regina was very artistic and enjoyed working with crafts and writing poetry. In 2018 she was honored as a mental health champion by the Mental Health Foundation. She was Recognized at the Foundation's annual awards ceremony and banquet held in Jefferson City, Missouri. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 12, at 4 pm at the Ponce Pentecostal Church in Ponce De Leon, Missouri, with Pastor Gayle Cobb officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Adams Funeral Home in Nixa, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the family be made at the memorial service to help the family with expenses.
