Randall Eugene Miles

September 7, 1958 — November 23, 2022

Randall Eugene Miles, age 64, entered peacefully into his enteral Heavenly home on November 23, 2022.

Randy was born on September 7, 1958, to Robert Miles and Helen (Gaddy) Miles, in Springfield, Missouri.

Randy was first and foremost, a faithful and loved child of God. He was a beloved Husband, Son, Father, and Grandfather. If there was a task to be done or something to be fixed, he was the first to take action. Randy loved serving the community through his local church.  He had a passion for the outdoors, working on his land, carpentry, music, and was an avid Cardinals and Chiefs fan. He sang baritone in a gospel quartet for six years and enjoyed playing drums for all genres. What brought him the greatest joy was watching his children play music and spending time with his family.

He worked forty years in the Information Technology and Services industry, designing enterprise networks, data center networking, communications and security solutions. Randy was widely known as a great role model and mentor to others in his field. With the help of his colleagues he designed some of the largest and most complex telco networks in the area.

If you ever talked with Randy you would have known that he was a wise sage, and always knew the right thing to do. Randy was a man of few words, but when he chose to speak it was impactful. Most of his advice would end with the phrase “everything is going to be ok”. Randy was a pillar of strength to his family and friends. His smile was warm and kind. He had a quiet strength that we know will carry our family through such a great loss.

We will miss him, dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Donna Miles; his Children , Brenton (Shelby) Miles and Emma (Caleb) Shreve. His two grandchildren; Eleanor and Moses Miles. Mother Helen Miles, Brother Steve (Anette) Miles, and a host of, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Robert Miles.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00 AM. He will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Walnut Grove, Missouri.
