Philip "Mark" MacMurray

Philip Mark MacMurray, known to many as Mark, was born June 8, 1956, in Buffalo, New York, and passed away August 19, 2026.

Mark was a longtime resident of Christian County and was a respected and hardworking businessman. His career included owning and operating MacMurray Tree and Landscaping Service and MacMurray Landscape Supply Center. He took great pride in his work and in the relationships he built throughout the community.

A talented craftsman, Mark had a remarkable ability to work with both wood and metal. He was a man who could create, repair, and build with his hands, always bringing skill and care to whatever he undertook.

Mark had a deep relationship with our Lord and held a special fondness for James River Church. His faith was an important part of his life and was reflected in the way he cared for others.

Above all, Mark was a loyal and generous friend with a compassionate and caring heart. He had many friends who treasured his friendship, kindness, humor, and willingness to help. The lives he touched were made better by knowing him, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who loved and knew him.

Mark will be remembered with love and gratitude and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by several nieces, as well as his much loved special friend, Joyce Snyder, and her family, who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip Lee MacMurray and Margaret MacMurray; his brother, Greg MacMurray; and his sisters, Jody Metzger, Diane MacMurray, and Karen Saunders.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark and cremation rites are accorded by Adams Crematory.
