Pete Bybee

Peter Daniel Bybee age 70, of Nixa, MO passed away October 4, 2015 after a short illness. He was born September 28, 1945 to Charles C and Brooxie (Todd) Bybee at Ft Francis E Warren Hospital in Cheyenne, WY. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an alumni of the Nixa Citizens Police Academy. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his monthly ride-a-longs with the Nixa Police Department. He was united in marriage to Cindy Pendergrass on June 10, 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Cindy Bybee, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Sandi Bybee, daughter and son-in-law Sherry and Robert Prior, adopted son (aka Partner) Jason Bennett, grandchildren Kayla, Brock and Chase Bybee, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Mike Foos, and a host of family and friends. A Celebration of Pete's Life will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 8, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Thursday.
