Patsy Mae Davis

            Patsy Mae Davis, age 79 of Nixa, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on May 22, 2023.  She was born December 7, 1943 in Oakdale, California, the daughter of Kirkton B and Ruby Mae (Harris) Rhynes. 

           Patsy was raised in Abilene, Texas. On August 10, 1963 Patsy was united in marriage to William Dale Davis and had moved back to Oakdale where she lived for 40 years.  She had retired from Hershey Chocolate, USA where she was a customer service distributor. Patsy was a quilter, attending Roads to California conventions with her quilting friends. She loved antiquing across the country with her husband. Patsy also enjoyed gardening in her large flower beds. Most of all, Patsy loved being a mom, and a Nana to all of her amazing grandchildren and great grandchildren.    

 Survivors include:  her loving husband, of nearly 60 years, Dale Davis of Nixa; her three beautiful daughters, Tammy Tipton and husband Todd, Melbourne, Florida, Tracy Lagunas-Paul and husband Dean of Nixa and Teresa Davis of Nixa; grandchildren, Ashleigh Matus and husband Joe of Ozark, Christopher Tipton and wife Ariel of San Antonio, Texas, Maeci Wilharm of Pocatello, Idaho, Devon Wilharm of Springfield, Hayleigh Lagunas of Nixa and Marissa Lagunas of Nixa; great grandchildren, Chloe Tipton of Ozark, Kason Tipton, Maddox Tipton, Rory Tipton all of San Antonio, Texas; Nermiah Wilharm Spence of Nixa, Aria Matus of Ozark, and Kynder Massey, her sister, Carolyn Sexton of Nixa, Judy Lines of Abilene, Texas, and Sandra Markey of Grant’s Pass Oregon; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Patsy will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, with Pastor Rodney McCann officiating.
