Patricia Jean Barker

Patricia Jean (Degginger) Barker, age 71 of Billings, died May 15, 2023.  She was born February 5, 1952 in Joplin, the daughter of William and Nancy (Salsman) Degginger.

On December 24, 1970, Pat was united in marriage to Paul Arthur Barker.  Paul preceded Pat in death.

Pat was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ in Nixa.  She was actively involved in church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include:  her daughters, Jeanna Barker of Billings, Angela Whitman and husband Randall of Billings, Lynna Gardner and husband Jeremy of Billings, Erin Maxey and husband David of Nixa, and Kimberly Barker and Michael Horn of Branson; grandchildren, Caitlin Whitman (Aaron Walker) of Springfield, Taylor Curtis (Scott) of Galena, Tristen Stubbs (David) of Fayetteville, Emily Mooney (Brandon) of Clever, Tara Gardner of Aurora, Travis Gardner of Auroria, Katelynn Maxey of Nixa, Chase Cooley of Nixa, Luke Milam of Nixa, Peyton Maxey of Nixa, Taegan Gardner of Billings, Mason Barker of Billings, Ava Barker of Branson, Damien Horn of Branson and December Horn of Branson; 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Degginger of Alabama; and a host of other family and friends. 

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her parents; two brothers, Steve Degginger and Alan Degginger; and her parents in law, Franch and Lucille Barker.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa with Jim Sneed officiating. Burial will follow at Wise Hill Cemetery, Billings.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
