Orval Ray Ford

January 17, 1942 — March 6, 2022

Orval Ray Ford, 80, passed away on March 6, 2022, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri from complications due to Congestive heart failure.

Orval Ray Ford was born on January 17, 1942 in Sikeston, MO, to Orval and Ethel (Hazel) Ford. He was married to Phyllis Marie St. Clair. Orval was originally from Puxico but settled in Aurora, with his wife who still resides in their home.

Orval was a quiet man who spent his time and energy loving his family, especially his grandson, Kasen. In his younger days, while a farmer in the Bootheel of Southeast Missouri, Orval loved to hunt, fish, and spend time outdoors walking his fields. After farming, Orval became a truck driver, which he would continue doing for the next 18+ years.

Orval's lifelong dream was to live on a lake where he could fish everyday. Orval was unable to fulfill his dream. However, Kasen his grandson follows that same life long dream and will hope to fulfill it one day for his grandpa.

Orval is survived by his wife, Phyllis, of Aurora; a son, Theron Ray Ford and his wife, Betty, and a step grandson Josh and his wife Carrie of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Tracey Blaue and her husband, Allan; a grandson, Kasen, all of Nixa.

Orval is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Connie Macadoo.
