Norma Jean Gorlock

    Norma Jean Gorlock, age 86 of Nixa, passed away March 24, 2024.  She was born October 29, 1937 in Avella, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Joseph and Patsy Lena (Dragone) Gorlock.

     Norma was a make up artist for many years in New York City.  She enjoyed cooking and singing.  Norma was talented in writing songs for the Lord and praying with others.

     Survivors include: her siblings, Dennis Ray Gorlock and wife Kathy of Rayland, Ohio and their children, Denny, Deena and Debbie Jo; Cynthia Kay Thornlow and husband Joseph of The Villages, Florida and their children, Jodi, Kelly and Stacey; and Lena Gorlock and children, Ricky, Tracy and Amber; and nieces and nephew, Anita, Lisa, Aimee and Jamie;

     Norma was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Joyce Patricia Wisniewski and Joseph Ralph Gorlock.  

     Cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.  

     Burial will be in Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark.
