Norene Davis

Norene Davis of Highlandville, Missouri, left this life Saturday, February 18, 2023. She was born on January 6, 1934, in Abesville, Missouri.

Norene was a lifelong resident of Stone and Christian County where she lived and worked. She worked at the Crane Garment Factory and at Fasco in Ozark, but most importantly she was a fantastic home maker for her husband, kids, and grandkids. She enjoyed oil painting and sewing in her free time and was very talented at working with her hands. She attended 65 Full Gospel Church for approximately 55 years.

Norene is preceded in death by her parents Milton Cutbirth and Ivawn (Cloud) Cutbirth, her husband Harold Davis, daughter Susie Foster, sister Earnestine Smith, and sister Nadine Erwin.

She is survived by her sister Alene Frederich of Crane, MO; sister Charlene Edmondson of Mt. Vernon, MO; brother Jerry Cutbirth of Lebanon MO, son Sid Davis and wife Sharon of Golden MO; grandson Brian Foster and wife Amanda of Highlandville MO; granddaughter Kasey Davis-Canada and husband Aaron of Sulphur Springs, TX; granddaughter Lasey Yosten and husband Phillip of Greenville, TX; grandson Chris Muse of Bellview, NE; granddaughter Pepper Tallant and husband Gary of Broken Arrow, OK; Great Grandchildren include Zackary Muse, Haleigh Tallant-Hood and husband Alex of Broken Arrow, OK.; Ethan, Wyatt, and Olivia Muse of Bellview NE.; Averi, Jaxon, and Andru  Foster of Highlandville, MO; Gideon and Abby Davis-Canada of Sulphur Springs TX.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the 65 Full Gospel Church

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Burial will follow at Martin Cemetery near Highlandville.  Visitation will be held from 1 until 2 p.m. immediately before the funeral at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
