Mrs. McCroskey passed away on Sunday, Nov. 20th at Ozark Riverview Manor in Ozark, Mo. She had been a resident there for six years.
Nancy was born June 30, 1931, in Springfield, Mo., to Norman Ralph and Marguerite Rebecca Van Winkle. She graduated from Senior (Central) High School in 1950 and was married on July 7th the same year to William Claude McCroskey. She was a lifelong resident of Greene and Christian counties and a member of the Church of Christ.
Nancy was a homemaker and worked for several years at Fasco in Ozark. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, gardening, bird watching, and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Cash and son-in-law, BJ, of Willow Springs; her son David McCroskey and wife, Kay, of Ozark; and son Tim McCroskey and wife, Robin, of Ava; eight grandchildren, Chris and Carson Cash, Mandy Faulkner, Travis McCroskey, Rebecca and Grant Ruggles, Erin Evans, and Brooke McCroskey; and ten great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William; her son, Daniel; her parents, Norman and Marguerite VanWinkle, and three brothers, Ralph, Donald, and Kyle VanWinkle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Fair Haven Children’s Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757.
Funeral services for Nancy Jo McCroskey, 91, Ozark, Mo., will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022, at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. Burial will be at Patterson Cemetery following the service.
