Minnie "Fran" Brazeale

Feb 2, 1935 — Apr 26, 2026

Ozark

Minnie Frances "Fran" Brazeale died Sunday April 26, 2026. She was born on February 2, 1935 to Lloyd and Emma Fulton, the sixth of seven children, in rural Christian County. She met Joe Brazeale at a dance hall, and they married on May 1, 1960. In 1963, they bought a farm near Ozark, Missouri and settled down to raise their three children. Fran and Joe enjoyed 56 years of marriage before Joe passed in 2016. Fran was a devoted caregiver to Joe during his last years. She also worked at Kraft for 10 years.

Fran was a dedicated wife and mother and also a very fine seamstress, who was all too modest about her talents. After her children were grown, Fran worked as a dressmaker and alterations lady. She was a perfectionist about her work, and only the finest quality products left her studio. Fran enjoyed spending time with her family and she had a wicked sense of humor that often kept them in stitches.

Fran was predeceased by her husband Joe Brazeale, along with her brothers (and spouses) Jake Fulton (Linda), Wade Fulton (Shirley), Weldon Fulton, Russ Fulton (Mary), sister June Ellis (John), and brothers in law Davy Hale, Charles Brazeale, Ollie Liner, and Bob Faerber.

She is survived by her children Lance Brazeale (Lesa), Jack Brazeale (Lessie), and Diana Brazeale; grandson Joseph Brazeale; sister Barbara Hale; and sisters in law Jeanne Fulton, Gena Liner, Ina Rae Brazeale, Rachel Robertson (Dale), and Ruthie Faerber.

The family would like to thank Fran's many extended family members, friends and neighbors who checked on her and assisted her with daily living the last few months of her life.

Arrangements are under the directions of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.

A graveside service will be held for both Fran and Diana Brazeale at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 14, 2026 at Selmore Cemetery, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
