Matthew Robert Foster

Matthew Robert Foster, 66, passed away on September 10, 2026. He was born on June 4, 1960, in Wichita, Kansas, to Wayne and Norma Foster.

Matthew graduated from Wichita North High School in 1978 and went on to attend Kansas State University, where he graduated from the College of Engineering in with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science. He built a successful career in construction and was employed as a Project Manager with BaileyPyle Builders at the time of his passing.

Matthew was a man who loved deeply and lived fully. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He married the love of his life, Kristy Frisbie, on September 25, 2004. Together, they built a life centered around family, faith, and countless memories.

Matthew was also a member of the Sertoma Club, where he enjoyed being part of an organization dedicated to community service and helping others.

A proud Kansas State Wildcat, Matthew enjoyed cheering on K-State, as well as the Denver Broncos and Denver Nuggets. He loved watching NBA games and was always ready to support his favorite teams. But nothing meant more to him than supporting his boys, Nicholas and Bryce. He was their biggest fan and never missed an event, always showing up to cheer them on and be part of their lives.

Matthew especially cherished time with his family at Table Rock Lake. He loved sunset cruises, early morning jet ski rides, riding his motorcycle, and spending time outdoors. He had a special place in his heart for his dogs and treasured the simple moments spent with the people he loved.

Above all, Matthew was a Christian whose faith was an important part of his life. His love for his family, his generosity of spirit, and his willingness to serve others reflected the values he held dear.

Matthew is survived by his wife, Kristy; sons, Nicholas Matthew Foster and Bryce Kristopher Foster; brother, John Foster (Anne); sister-in-law, Emmanual Foster; brother-in-law, Paul Frisbie (Annette); sister-in-law, Karla Rosell (Edward); brother-in-law, Daniel Brase; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Norma Foster; his brother, Kenneth Wayne Foster; and his maternal grandparents, John L. and Louise Sullivan.

Matthew leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love, devotion, service, and family. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
