Mary and Bruce Cockell

Mary Ellizabeth Hean Cockell (Scott) passed away July 15, 2025 not long after celebrating her 100th birthday, in Ozark, Missouri. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada May 12, 1925, daughter of Susan (Stark) and Alexander Scott.

Her husband, Winston Bruce Cockell was born in Rush Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada March 21, 1918, son of Amy Florence (Wescott) and William Cockell. He predeceased Mary on June 16, 2011 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Mary and Bruce married in 1945 and their lives revolved around raising their unique family.

They are survived by their triplet children, Alan B Cockell (Sheryl Grouse), Brian S Cockell (Tarja) and Diane E Barr (Roger). They are also survived by their one granddaughter Jasmin E Barr Reimann (Brody).

Mary and Bruce will be laid to rest in McConnell-Bledsoe Cemetery in Nixa, Missouri, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.
