Marvin Allen Little, age 93, of Stover, Missouri, passed away on September 7, 2025. He was born September 26, 1931, in Lowry, Arkansas, to Milton and Eliza Little.
Marvin grew up on a farm where hard work became second nature to him from an early age. In 1948, he proudly enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country with honor until his retirement as a Technical Sergeant in 1968. Following his military career, Marvin worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk for 20 years before retiring once again.
In 1977, Marvin married Evelyn, with whom he shared many wonderful years. Through their marriage, he gained a loving family and embraced his role as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Marvin was a man of integrity, known for his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Though he may have seemed a little rough on the outside, those who knew him best understood he had a heart of gold. He loved the outdoors and found joy in fishing, especially taking his family to the lake to share in his favorite pastime and winning many tournaments and trophies along the way. He also enjoyed tending to his garden, where he poured the same patience and care that he gave to his family and friends.
A talented pool player, Marvin won several tournaments over the years and always enjoyed a good game. He was also a gifted storyteller, entertaining those around him with tales that could make you laugh, reflect, or simply feel connected.
Marvin’s legacy is one of love, integrity, and strength. He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his wisdom, his stories, and his quiet but steady presence.
