Marvin E. Andrews, 76, of Nixa passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020, just one day short of his 77th birthday. He served proudly in the US Navy from 1964-1970 and retired from Midwest Steel in Portage, IN in 2001 after 40 years of service. Marvin enjoyed fishing and poker with his siblings, children, nieces, and nephews and was almost never seen without his trademark navy cap on his head. He was also an active member of the Ozark Senior Center where he made many friends in his later years and volunteered working their senior breakfasts in the kitchen when his health allowed. He is survived by one daughter, Lora (Seth) Andrews-Lindblom of Illinois; one granddaughter Kira and daughter-in-law Shari Andrews-Stiglich of Indiana; sisters Wanda Mason of Indiana; Mary Kay (Joe) Kucan of Indiana; and Victoria (Kenneth) Cecil of Washington; one sister-in-law, Lee (Ken) Madura of Branson West; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Shirley Andrews, Ann Hughes, Lorene (Don) Pitcher, and Charles (Joyce) Andrews. He was widowed 2 times; by his first wife Carolyn in 1996 and second wife Linda in 2009. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Tina and son Burton. Cremation rites have been accorded for Marvin and a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Adams Funeral Home in Ozark. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 5:00-6:00 P.M. When you married my sister Linda you really married into our family, Kenny Molly Keegan Matt Brianne Madi Chloe Emma and Ken & Lee. At first we didn't know how to take your sense of humor but soon learn how funny you were. My sister said she warned you about the families version of "Happy Birthday ". Wish I had a picture of your face when we sang. After that initiation you were in. We have had so many happy memories too numerous to mention. You were such a loving and kind husband to my sister and I was so grateful to you for that. You blessed our family Thank you for coming into our lives. Loving Lee
