Marion Plank of Carrollton, TX, formerly of Ozark, Missouri, died May 3rd, 2026, at the age of 82. She was born on May 12, 1943, in Ozark where she spent her childhood. Marion was the daughter of Albert (“Prince”) and Ethel McCoy who were both raised in Christian County where the family enjoys extensive roots.

Marion was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Gary Plank of Tulsa, who was also a native of Ozark. Marion and Gary were married in Topeka, Kansas on August 10th, 1961, and is survived by her son, Anthony Plank, of Dallas, Texas. Other survivors include a grandson, Joshua Plank of Dallas, Texas, four nieces, and one nephew. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ethel, and her beloved brother, Kenneth McCoy of Pittsburg, Kansas.

Marion was a forty-year-long professional in medicine having attended nursing school in Springfield, Missouri, prior to marrying Gary. She served in diverse capacities in the field including surgical nurse, laboratory technician, reception, and office management. Marion was especially proud of her success as a teacher at the Springer School of nursing where she taught classes on medical office management.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. A graveside service with Dr. Wade Bridges officiating will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Hopedale Cemetery, Ozark, under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
