Marilyn Kelley
Marilyn Kay Kelley, age 64, of Ozark, passed away peacefully at home Monday, February 17, 2020. She was born April 26, 1955, the daughter of Wilbur Leon Davis and Roena (Kerr) Davis. She graduated from Ozark High School in 1973 and started working for Paul Schupbach Chevrolet. She was employed by the agency for over 40 years, working also for Dennis Hanks Chevrolet and Ozark Chevrolet. Marilyn loved the Lord, her source of strength. She was a long time member of Mentor Baptist Church. Caring for her children, she brought them up as a Christian mother, investing her time, lovingly bringing them up, and continuing to care for them up until her death. She took great pride in seeing the Chiefs win this month, and was a St. Louis Cardinal fan. She enjoyed supporting her home teams, and was a racing fan. Marilyn took time to ask customers and friends about their lives, showing true compassion for others. Survivors include: Two children, Rebecca Barrett and husband Evan of Ozark, and Christopher Kelley of Nixa; grandchildren, Emily and Kaylee; a sister, Wanda Steele and husband Don and their children Sarah and Daryl; a brother, Gayle Davis and wife Diane; other relatives and many friends. Marilyn's parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, February 21, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor Ray Lassley officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Marilyn was an inspiration and had such a positive impact on my life. She was my dearest friend and she will be missed. I will miss the many deep late night conversations that we had. My thoughts and prayers are with her loving family.
