Madge Rebecca Brown

Madge Rebecca (Davis) Brown passed away at 8:19 PM, Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was born June 13, 1921 to Henry and Bertha Davis of Paducah, Kentucky. She married Lester Brown of Peoria, Illinois, June 8, 1940. They lived in Pekin, Illinois until their retirement in 1980. They enjoyed their lake home on Tablerock Lake. Madge loved fishing and traveling. Madge"�s three granddaughters were her greatest joy. They spent every summer with Madge on the lake. Madge loved baking and cooking for them. She loved watching them grow up, graduate from High School and go on to College, creating futures of their own. In 1999 Madge moved to Ozark to be close to family. She is survived by her loving children, Patricia Grindle of Ozark, and Robert Dennis Brown and his wife Lorna, of Wisconsin; three granddaughters, Kelly Brown of Sioux City, Iowa, Jennifer Sitzes and husband Greg, of Springfield, Missouri, and Abigail Hawkins and husband Bryan, of Ozark. She adored her two great-grandsons, Beau and Rider. Also surviving are friends she loved, Don and Linda Grindle and Marlene Brown. She and Lester were together for 60 years before his death on December 7, 1999. She was also preceded in death by a son, John C. Brown. A graveside funeral will be 4:00 PM Tuesday, August 16, in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson. Visitation will be from 1:00 "� 3:00 PM Tuesday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark.
