Lynda Lou Stewart

Lynda Lou Stewart, age 78, of Galena, Missouri, passed away on May 17, 2026. She was born on February 11, 1948, to Raymond “Kelly” Stewart and Maxine Martin Stewart.

Lynda attended Galena Schools and spent her life enjoying the simple things that brought her happiness. She loved watching Walker, Texas Ranger and The Andy Griffith Show, and she especially enjoyed laughing and joking with those around her. Lynda treasured the memories of going on weekend trips and horse and wagon rides with her daddy, Kelly Stewart. Lynda also enjoyed playing bingo with her friends at Nixa Rehab in her final days. Her warm personality and sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her niece, Tammy Haslar and husband John of Spokane, Missouri; her nephew, John Thompson and wife Kelly of Greensburg, Indiana; and her sister, Geraldine Thompson of Galena, Missouri.

Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond “Kelly” Stewart and Maxine Stewart.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rites will by accorded by Adams Crematory.
