Louie Power Jamieson

Louie Power Jamieson, age 79, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away March 4, 2026. He was born to Clarence and Mildred Jamieson.

Louie was a master carpenter until his retirement and took great pride in working with his hands. He had a talent for building and creating, and his craftsmanship was admired by many. Louie especially loved traveling with the love of his life, his beloved wife Marcia, and treasured the time he spent with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

On August 16, 2003, Louie married the love of his life, Marcia Atwell Jamieson, and together they shared many wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and travel.

He is survived by his wife, Marcia Jamieson; sons, James (Angie) Atwell and Dennis (Mariann) Atwell; brother, Paul (Linda) Jamieson; nephew, Mark Jamieson; nieces, Amanda and Kelly; grandchildren, Cody (Vanessa) Atwell, Austin (Cierra) Atwell, and Madison Atwell; and great-grandchildren, Tatum, Aila, Maverick, and Maddox.

Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mildred Jamieson; his brother, Raymond Jamieson; his sister, Barbara; and his son, Scott Jamieson.

Louie will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love for his family, and the many memories he built with those he loved. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Arrangements are under the direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa and cremation rites will be accorded by Adams Crematory.
