Linda Joan Wright

            Linda Wright, age 72 of Nixa, died March 24, 2023 after a brief illness. She was born August 22, 1950 in Branson, the daughter of Charles and Lena (Hamon) Plott.

            On March 19, 1971, Linda was united in marriage to Jerry Wright.  Jerry preceded Linda in death in 2021.

Linda had been working as an accountant for Bass Pro Shops for the past 46 years.  She loved her job.  Her work life was very important to her.  

Survivors include: her daughter, Becky Richardson and husband Ryan of Nixa and her brother, Jerry Plott of Springfield.

            In addition to her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Barbara Looney.

            A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. Cremation rites were accorded by Adams Crematory and arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home, Nixa.  

            In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
